Tax Deadline Dates – April 2017

It’s almost Easter, and that means the Easter Bunny will be busy hopping around trying to get everything in place in time for the big day, similarly to anyone who works in Payroll when it’s due.

Here at Intelligo, we understand how hard working in Payroll can be, so we’re trying to make things a bit easier. So here’s our useful guide for key dates of tax deadlines in the UK and Ireland this month.

 

HMRC UK 

April 6th: First day of new tax year

April 19th: Deadline for postal payments to reach HMRC Accounts Office for any outstanding non-electronic PAYE tax and Class 1 NICs for the tax year ending 5 April 2016.

April 22nd: Deadline for electronic payments to be cleared in HMRC’s bank account for any outstanding PAYE and Class 1 NICs for the tax year ending 5 April 2016.

April 31st: Last date for giving a form P60 for 2015-16 to each relevant employee who was working for you on 5 April 2016.

 

REVENUE IRELAND 

April 14th: PAYE/PRSI/USC/LPT:
P30 monthly return and payment for March 2017
P30 quarterly return and payment for January – March 2017

DWT: Return and payment of DWT for March 2017

PSWT: F30 monthly return and payment for March 2017

April 19th: VAT: Monthly VAT 3 return and payment (if due) for the period March together with a Return of Trading Details where the accounting period ends in March

VAT: Annual VAT 3 return and payment (if due) for the period April – March together with a Return of Trading Details where the accounting period ends in March

April 20th: VAT: MOSS VAT return and payment (if due) for the period January – March 2017

April 1st* – 23rd: Corporation Tax: PT for APs ending between 1-31 May 2017

Corporation Tax: Returns for APs ending between 1-31 July 2016

Corporation Tax: Pay balance due on APs ending between 1-31 July 2016

April 23rd: RCT: RCT monthly return and payment (if due) for March 2017

RCT: RCT quarterly return and payment (if due) for period January – March 2017

April 30th: Corporation Tax: Returns of Third Party Information for APs ending between 1-31 July 2016
